The Orchestra at Passage Middle School is comprised of approximately 140 student musicians in sixth, seventh, and eighth grade.  Offering beginner, intermediate, and symphonic orchestra experiences, students gain the knowledge needed to become proficient middle school string musicians and continue on as life-long musicians.  During the 2016-2017 school year, all Passage Middle School Orchestras, including the 6th Grade Beginner Orchestra, 7th & 8th Grade Beginner Orchestra, Intermediate Orchestra, Symphony Strings, and the Chamber Orchestra, all earned ratings of SUPERIOR at their Spring Performance Festivals.  In addition, both the Intermediate Orchestra and Symphony Strings earned ratings of SUPERIOR at their District VIII Orchestra Assessment in March.  The Passage Middle School Orchestra program prides itself on setting high standards and goals while continually "reaching for the stars" to meet their goals and inspire other middle school students to become life-long musicians.
